Open Water Diver Certification Courses require two weeks for the classroom, pool training, and open water certification dives. There are two classroom sessions on consecutive Wednesday evenings from 6:00 p.m. till 9:30 p.m. Beginning in the same week, the two pool sessions are held on consecutive Fridays from 6:00 p.m. till 9:30 p.m. The second and last pool session is immediately followed by two days of Open Water Evaluations during the weekend – Saturday and Sunday from 9:00 a.m. till approximately 3:00 p.m. Check the schedule below for available dates. Each row in the table below is one complete class that spans for two weeks.

NOTE: There are NO refunds on classes. A strict schedule is followed on preprogrammed group classes and student-initiated schedule changes will result in a $150.00 fee if the change is requested one week prior to start date or a $300.00 fee is incurred if the change request is during the week of the class. All courses must be completed within six months of the original start date.

*Open Water Dives are held in the Blue Lagoon in Huntsville, TX. Open Water Dive dates are weather permitting and based on water temperature.
**During the winter months, we can offer student referrals for anyone traveling on a dive trip between November and March/April or postpone the open water evaluations until April of the following year.
