Q: Why do you dive?
A: I enjoy exploring. Scuba diving allows me to move freely underwater and makes me feel I are part of the marine life. I visit a world where gravity is not a constraint and I feel like I’m weightless in an environment I would not normally have access to. Every dive is a new adventure that I can share with my buddies and I can escape the land based world for a while.
Q: Why did you decide to instruct diving?
A: I became an instructor because I wanted to share my passion and enthusiasm with other divers. Whether working with students while they learn the basics of diving and experience the freedom underwater or with divers continuing their education, I have the opportunity to share my knowledge and experiences to help them build competence and confidence in their skills and abilities. I consider myself as a diver who has the privilege to share my experiences with others making us better divers along the way. The best moment is when the “light” goes off with students and they become divers.
Q: Why Instruct at Dive Tech?
A: The Team. The Family. The Relationships. The Professionalism. The Integrity. The love of Diving.
Q: Number one tip for future diver?
A: Relax, Breathe, Go SLOW and be comfortable.
Q: Your coolest dive trip and why.
A: Bora Bora The incredible diversity of marine life and the hard and soft colorful corals was special. Bora Bora offered a unique opportunity to dive with graceful manta rays inside the lagoon. There were schools of eagle rays, stingrays, bat rays and leopard rays along with black tip and lemon sharks. The over water bungalows allowed me to snorkel and see the vast marine life, coral and tropical fish.
